Back to normal operations, or: sleep is for the weak

I got it here, when we were there. Could there be a more perfect T? If you look reeeealy closely, you can see his first little tooth poking through. And yes, the other one’s coming in so we’re not getting much sleep around here. Still.

Oh Jillian, it’s not. It’s a HUGE scratch from his little razor sharp nails before I had a chance to cut them. You have no idea how sharp baby nails are…and baby teeth. :)

The architeture students at the college I went to all had shirts made because they were notorious for having to stay up night after night doing their projects:

    Sleep is Cheap

Man, I disagree. Sleep is a precious commodity around here…I’d pay thousands for it! (grin)

I LOVE finding funny baby tees. We have one that says “Famous in Japan.” And next on my list is “Does this diaper make my butt look big?”

He is adorable! I think we need that shirt for Eli. You’d think he would figure out how to sleep through the night at age four. If he wasn’t so damn funny, I think Dave and I would have more of a problem with it.

[deep loud and raspy] “Mom! Dad! Mom! Dad!”
    “What Eli?”
    “I can’t sleep.”
    “Why Eli?”
“I need to tell you a joke. If I tell you a joke, then I can sleep.”

(True story and it has happened on more than one occasion.)
