Last night before I put Bean to bed I took out the new finger paints I’d bought and put paper down on the bathroom floor. Bean was so excited: alternately squealing with glee and furrowing his brows in concentration. He made it a full body experience, of course—and then I plunked him straight into a warm bath. What could be better?

and fingerpaint!
You’re the best mom on the planet, yo! Mwah!
awwww, I miss baby chubby legs.
Glad the sis is ok too.
a.
oh what fun! what a smart mama you are, too — finger painting in the bathroom with a bath ready and waiting… that’s genius!!
Wonderful and there is NOTHING better. Thank you for showing us those cute chubber legs ~ I so miss that with my girl
Baby toes!! Yummy yummy!
Yeeeouch! My ovaries, they’re aching! Those sweet baby hands in the finger paint, it’s too much, too much!
I’m so relieved that your sister is safe and well. How cool is it that she resides in blogland as well?
What a lovely mess though! Doing it in the bathroom, brilliant!
I got Pearl fingerpaints for xmas but we haven’t busted them out yet. Need to do that now that we have some tile floors! Though I might take your idea one step further and just do it in the bathtub, hehe.
What fun! I let my 11 month old paint with his food but I haven’t tried finger paints yet. I think I am going to pick some up and see if he likes them.
Very adorable pictures.
I really enjoy reading your blog. May I add a link to your blog on my sidebar?
Awww, so sweet! I wish I could do that too, but we live on a boat and there is no bathtub close by, unfortunately!
Oh that is tooooo cute…and he is just adorable. Looks like Bean had a lot of fun.
fantastic! I want to do this! Well…maybe I should…
And he is the cutest little guy ever…
oh, I love it… I LOVE IT. can’t believe I haven’t done this with ezra yet… totally inspired!
Seeing this made me wonder why I ever gave up finger painting…
