I'm an infrequent commenter and you don't know me but I love your writing and here are 7 things about me (it only seems fair): 1. The ocean gives me strength and peace of mind. 2. I loved being a teacher but being an artist fills me up in a completely different and life-sustaining way. 3. My daughters are my greatest teachers. We homeschool but I find that I am more of a facilitator of learning than a teacher. 4. The upper part of my ears have kinks in them. 5. I have to create something. Every. single. day. Or anger becomes my most easily accessible emotion quite quickly. 6. Cooking for my family and friends makes me feel ridiculously content and centered. 7. I like to drink whiskey. Single malt. 1. The ocean gives me strength and peace of mind.
2. I loved being a teacher but being an artist fills me up in a completely different and life-sustaining way.
3. My daughters are my greatest teachers. We homeschool but I find that I am more of a facilitator of learning than a teacher.
4. The upper part of my ears have kinks in them.
5. I have to create something. Every. single. day. Or anger becomes my most easily accessible emotion quite quickly.
6. Cooking for my family and friends makes me feel ridiculously content and centered.
7. I like to drink whiskey. Single malt. Islands, Highland and Islay whiskey. But only in the late fall and winter.

I like to look at scrapbooking books and magazines more than I like to actually scrapbook....no mess involved or kids getting into stuff 2. I have a love-hate relationship with my cell phone (sometimes it feels more like a leash) 3. I don't like coffee but I drink hot chocolate with marshmallows about daily when temps dip below 50. 4. I am addicted to Law & Order and ER and love the familiarity of a long-running series. 5. I long for time away from my kids but I can't handle to be away from them more than 24 hours and talk about them the whole time I'm gone. 6. There is a dirt road near my parents farm that I love to walk on whenever I can. It's a place to contemplate, dream and relax like no other. 7. My husband and I sit at the bar at a Local Bar and Grill where we started going when we met 14 years ago and the same bartender works there and remembers our orders even when a year goes by between visits (his name is Dean). 1.
