I failed NaBloPoMo

I didn’t even mean to. I simply forgot to write yesterday–amidst snow falling and my father-in-law’s birthday, and conferences at work and, well, life. Now I’m torn. I can either revert to my pensive ever-two-days posts, or continue to bombard you with daily chatter.

Yes, I love the daily chatter. Always! But I know what you mean – it’s a miracle that I’ve made it this far. I’ve decided that NEXT YEAR I may not do it – the challenge is fun but I hate my lackluster posts. However, when I wait to write after sleeping on the couch, lackluster is the only option.

I failed, too. Mine was because I was in the middle of conferences (the parent part, not the teacher part), and working overtime, and living my life.
But I gave myself permission to consider myself a winner if I *average* a post per day for November. Because had I given up, I would never have posted so many times this week. And then I’d have been back to two or three times per month.
I say keep posting. We’ll keep reading.
