Can't sleep

The inability to sleep (wtf? When did that start being one of my problems?) combined with perpetual snow has me rather glum. The only good thing? Tomorrow is Friday.

I find that writing, or drawing lyrically, helps purge some of that glumness, putting it on paper.
Hope you feel better soon.

I’m a terrible sleeper, but that’s how I get my reading done!

Hooray! For Friday. Sorry to hear about your sleeplessness. Maybe tomorrow night, a big cup of chamomile, or wine – wine always sends me straight to bed.

I’ve had one of those weeks too, but it’s all my fault–naps after school. I’ve been exhausted lately (spring break next week–thank goodness), so I’m well on my way of reversing my days and nights. Oy.
Our snow has finally melted here… there are plenty of good-sized patches, but our backyard is now “poop soup” (good ol’ dogs) and I don’t care–I’m celebrating the sun and the lack of coat!
Here’s hoping this weekend will refresh you, put you back on the sleeping course.

Nothing natural here – plain old Unisom works for me and has for four years. I just take a half a dose and it helps me sleep through the night . My OB/GYM recommended it during my 2nd pregnancy when I wasn’t able to stay asleep. It is safe to take during pregnancy and is really just a anti-histamine anyway. Works for me….

I’ve been having the worst sleep lately: too active dreams and waking feeling sore and exhausted. Must be going around!

TGIF, I agree wholeheartedly!!

love the sunset pics this week! Hope the sleep thing is only temporary…but if it’s not, I buy melatonin (liquid) from the health food store for my 2 little ones. Autism, and sleep disturbance seem to go hand in hand. Sigh. Its natural and non addictive. If you still can’t sleep, you were asking about some new blogs to maybe visit for something fresh. I haven’t been reading them long, but they have poetry and big bits of happy! So you could check them out during the wee hours if need be. 1st one bepresentbehere.blogspot.com and the second is djkreutzer.com. I loved her post on March 10th about time. hope all is dreamy tonight

I used to be the queen of sleeping…but lately, not so much. I dont sleep nearly as long and the sleep itself is not as deep as it used to be. Must be old age…at 39?!
Must be stress, I guess.
