My goal is to cook every night this week. I’ve had about a month off and I feel slightly re-invigorated.

Reading about the Cotswolds in summer in Frances Mayes book and wishing it were summer right now.

As for eating, I had a lovely beef satay with peanut sauce that I’d been craving, and it didn’t disappoint.

Trying not to work while still on vacation, getting through the rest of my downtime project list, sushi tonight, but need to get back on the salad bandwagon. Wishing for more understanding of the distances between my husband and myself right now. Just starting a new book, haven’t even cracked the cover yet. We shall see!
